Go Ape: My Triumphant Finish (part 2 of 2)

With ease I scurried up the web of ropes, leapt onto the platform, and waved at the cheering crowd.  I deftly maneuvered across the hanging bridge and easily scaled yet another rope ladder to the final platform.  I wiped just the faintest hint of perspiration from my brow, manipulated the carbines one last time, and prepared for the final challenge: the zipline.  True, Go Ape boasts 5 sets of obstacles and zips, but I decided I’d leave the remaining 4 to the less lean of muscle.  And so, defying gravity, I soared through the trees, touched down perfectly, and raced across the landing.

At least, that’s how I remember it.

    Your courage and power to overcome those obstacles whether hey were big or small and still have a smile on your face when you finished was amazing. Its just like how you are when teaching, overcoming any obstacles your students put you up to challenge! A true woman, a triumph! Go Ape!
