Metamora’s train

Geoff and I enjoyed a trip back in time, from the back of a train. We boarded the caboose of Metamora’s 30 minute train ride, climbed up to the observation chairs in the gondola (Geoff said this is the name of the raised part of the caboose interior) and enjoyed our ride past the quaint buildings, the historic canal, and fields of corn and wildflowers. After our ride, we stuffed ourselves with delicious sandwiches at the Smelly Gourmet, and then got spooked at The Metamora Museum of Oddities. More about our getaway in the October issue of Cincinnati Family Magazine.

Been there, done that? Or wannna go? Let me know!
