Memphis, Tennessee

So much more than Elvis. And Elvis is, of course, The King of Rock and Roll.  And to some fans, even more than that.

We went to Memphis, mainly to see Graceland, and we enjoyed Elvis’s home, but enjoyed the city’s other attractions beyond our expectations, and felt at home in the warm, welcoming southern atmosphere.

Families will love Memphis–the rich history lessons gained from The National Civil Rights Museum and the Pink Palace; the fun and excitement of the renowned Memphis Zoo; the artisan community represented the Metal Museum, the terrific Southern Fried, barbecued, and farm to table foods; and the music that fills the city and its soul.
